Ice Bath

So one day the mighty HRB asked if we brought extra pants. And underwear. (we shall never underestimate the power of underwear) Said he was going to take us swimming. So we were all like "Yay!" and very excited. Except for those who had no extra underwear. So he told us to wear no underwear. O.o

Anyhoo. So we all went to change and then we asked Huang Lao Shi if he knew where we were going, but he didn't know. So...when HRB the Mighty came back we all had to go help unload his car. Here's a quick inventory.

1 Inflatable pool
1 Air pump
5 Bags of ice

Ice. I kid you not. Apparently we were going to take an ice bath. Ice bath. Totally ninja-style, man!!

Okay. So the guys were supposed to bathe first. So the girls went back to the room. Then Zhen Xuan came to call us, so we went to the bathroom lor. From outside I could hear Wei Yoong's and Rocky's (Rokkee, haha) voice. Yelling. Like mad people. At the top of their lungs.

Then we entered the toilet. I saw Kenray and Jia Jun jumping around like crazy. Really crazy. And smacking their backsides. Hoho. Then I looked around the corner and saw Rocky, Shaun and Wei Yoong sitting in the pool, yelling at the top of their lungs and clapping their hands. Something like:

Hee hee. So Teacher Robin said he would brief us first on how to do it. (I think he thought we were going to take our clothes off) So we waited outside the loo. Then the guys all filed out saying things like "Aaah, so nice!" and "Wow. So fun!" and after they all trooped off, Shaun appeared at the door of the toilet going "Argh!" and collapsing against the doorframe. This did not comfort us one bit.

So in we went. The small kids did one minute, I think, while the big not-kids did two minutes.

And so forth. I tell you, the water is not cold. It burns! It burns the crap out of your legs!!! It burns the way only ice can burn. Basically, it burns.

But after that we felt very...numb. Woo. Noodle knees. Heh.

Later I found out somebody sat in the ice, jumped up and out of the pool, pulled down his pants and started smacking his own backside. And he wasn't wearing underwear. Huhu.

And then Teacher Robin took pictures. Oh noes.

Did the ice bath again today. With 7 packs of ice this time.

Now I know that our whole team can do nanquan because of the way they shout like gila.

Woosh! My legs were cold for a long time afterwards. Acks!

Oh yeah. Today Wei Yoong's foot met my head while I was sleeping. Then my foot met his face when he tried to whack me with a pillow. Hoho. Revenge!

Neh. The small kids never sleep! Argh!

Denice shall now be known as Chun Li. When I say "Chun Li!", you all must say "Jia You!"

How I Discovered Wushu

I discovered wushu thanks to Ho Guang Yuan, whom you all probably don't know. Anyway, one day I heard him action-ing my friends that when Bruce Lee waves his stick around it's actually not that hard. So I found out where the class was. And the one thing that solidified my joining wushu:

At SS15 Hall:

Me: So who is the coach?
CHOY WAI HO: There, the one with the stick standing over there.
Me: *looks over* THEY ARE ALL HOLDING STICKS.


So since Wei Yoong doesn't blog, I shall tell you all how he discovered wushu. One day he went to buy burger from a burger stall under a tree and he saw the mighty HRB's wushu class poster there. The End.

What Do I Remember....

1.Went through 1 and a half month of training (like hell)
2.Had to skip my exam
3.Packing alot of food
4.Checklist my stuff like a thousand time before leaving
5.Had Sook Yong and Eriene as roomates
6.Had to change room with coach cause the room only had 1 bed..
7.Almost lost the hotel key...(slight panic but the key ended up with Aidan's mom)
8.Had a great dinner and heard JJ sang
9.Did'nt manage to sleep at all during the 1st night
10.Had to wake up damn early
11.Had a moody bus driver on the 1st day...
12.Slept on the stadium bench (coach even took photos of us!)
13.Had "Nasi bungkus" for 2 days!
14.Parents which was all so supportive!
15.Felt proud being able to represent Purajaya...
16.Had nice uniforms! Love the Blue shirt
17.Panic cause did'nt know how to put on make-up
18.I drop my sword...=.= (WTF)
19.Taking lotsa photos
20.Crying during the "sharing" part
21.Was darn tired for whole 3 days
22.Had supper together
23.That scary lift that wei yoog,chee wee and myself went in (yikes!!)
24.Alric slept in the room leaving Aidan, Shaun and Wai Ho locked outside
25.Got pushed into the pool....(the pool was deep and I did'nt knew how to swim!!)
26.Got nth else to do while waiting to go home and we ended up trying to pour the milk out using our mind power (How Creative!)
27.Most of all had a really really great time

Lets hope this time would be better (espeacially the results!)

Hehe.....

1. 1st time doing such a big performance AT THE CARPET
2. doing the certificate which killed lots of my brain cell
3. 1st time driving to cheras....with my cute LIL GREEN MINI
4. driving down to cheras on the 2nd day without knowing how to get there and without my GPS
5. CUTE LIL GREEN TRUCK MINI have to fit like ME(the bimbo one), PEi NING(the navigator which not so sure bout the road), Xiang Ping(the sleepy one but toking non stop) and the mighty HRB's big bag of broadsword
6. having lots of fun after the whole competition ended at the corridor
7. playing SUMO with janisse....wth....(she so toufu, Toufu queen)
8. Teacher robin drive my mini and bring us go buy food.....and and and......he mati engine at the traffic light...
9. laughing like some stupid in the room when they playing prank call
10. see min and her gang "kucik"me....haha

i remember...

lets see..

- packing stuff like 3 weeks b4..
- begging lecturer not to have test during that week
- hardcore trainning wif soon laosi
- jogging in the morning
- eating VERY healthy meal.. (really control)
- searching for extra hangers..
- tapau lots of 3 in 1 from home.. but end up only finish 2 packet..
- begging sports drink from chen laosi (apparently they hide alot in ocm office)
- having a small misunderstanding wif sumone due to "which bed to sleep"
- having starbucks wif dad b4 checking in
- having starbucks wif see min in the 2nd nite
- got a shock bout my principle was there in the stadium
- having lots of fun camwhoring wif julie, pei ning, xiang ping.. but not least, v had nice sumo
session along the corridor (julie)
- had a great experience on knowing wenji's real character
- had a fun time in the pool, although it was real freezing...

What I Remember About My Last Competition

I remember:

Being tired as hell.
Sleeping standing up in front of the guardhouse waiting for Teacher Robin to pick me up.
Robbing banks with Wei Yoong.
Sleeping in class.
Flunking my exams.
My legs being so sore, they went a complete round and weren't sore anymore.
Skipping all activities in favor of wushu.
My red Putrajaya shirt not being dry in time, in spite of hanging in front of the hotel room air-cond the entire night.
Prodding Amelia out of bed.
Amelia not letting me pee in the middle of the night.
Prodding everyone else out of bed.
Tiny pau that the hotel provides, which are supposed to last us the whole morning.
Chee Wee and his Amazing Disappearing Act! (just ask Shaun)
Being in charge of a bunch of monkeys.
Being tired some more.
Nearly losing my belt and having a near-panic attack!!
Nicholas Tan. (haha, Wei Yoong. so not funny. T.T)
