Double Movie Day

Amelia, Andrea, Natalie, Wei Yoong, Xiang Ting, Yi Mann and I went to catch Storm Warriors at Sunway Pyramid today.

Documentation begins now.

Picked up Xiang Ting from her house 10.10am. Then, we headed to Sunway Pyramid. On the way, I phoned Yi Mann to ask her purchase the movie tickets first. Upon arrival, Xiang Ting and I headed straight for the cinema. We met up with Yi Mann and decided to purchase some concessions while awaiting for the others.

After everyone arrived, we entered the cinema. It was pretty much just a reiteration of the TV Drama "Wind and Cloud" in a 2-hour long movie, beefed up with cutting edge CGI.

We proceeded to have lunch in Esquire Kitchen after the movie. Then, Amelia and Andrea left for Mid Valley to do some shopping. The remaining five of us initially intended to bowl, but it turned out that the bowling alley was occupied for some international competition.

We loitered around for some time, before settling down for some airbrush tattoos. Wei Yoong, who wanted to act like a dai gor, decided to paint himself with a marking that's different from ours. Yi Mann left right after having her tattoo. Xiang Ting, the brace face, abandoned the rest of us to meet up with her friends.

Then, we proceeded to meet up with Natalie's mom who was going to bring her back. Wei Yoong and I had some New Zealand ice cream while waiting for our next movie, The Princess and The Frog. At around 5.10pm, we were rejoined by Xiang Ting for the movie. It was pretty touching, MUCH better than Storm Warriors. Unfortunately, Xiang Ting left us right before the best part came as her sister was already here for her. After the movie, Wei Yoong and I went home.
